Sarthak Sardana who is professionally known as Sartek is a Delhi based DJ and music producer. He has worked with multiple record labels such as Armada Music, Hardwell’s Revealed Recording, Sony Music Denmark, Sony Music India and Dharma/Spinning. For Indian tours he is an official opening for artists such as Justin Bieber, Hardwell, Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki.
The lockdown has given enough time to everyone to try new things. Sartek parted from his preferred dance genre to mix with another styles.
Sartek is known globally not just in his home country India, he has a millions of audiences who like his creativity.
His new single, Angel Khoj is very dreamy and searching the inner peace of soul. The track is melodic and soft with the mingle of some international productions hacks.
The track features musician and content creator Vipasha Malhotra. The vocals are mixed with Indian and western instruments in appreciation harmony. The unique production and melodic can give one an emotional connection.
“This release took a lot of brainstorming to arrive at the ‘new sound’… and I was waiting for a perfect set of vocals to start off the project. Then, I heard this vocal hook online somewhere and asked Vipasha to sing it. She did a superb job writing it and it inspired me to go to the studio and make this into a whole song”, Sartek also shared his early life experiences on music and he told about influence of folk songs on his style . Vipasha, her collaborator has a similar interpretation of the song.
“Future banger. As art, the song is up for interpretation, but for me, it’s a song about the search of your dreams and about living the journey to the fullest,” she says.
