The knocks is a duo of Ben Ruttner and James Patterson who have produced and mixed for several artists such as Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Mobb Depp, Nikki Minaj, Marina and the Diamonds, Flo Rida etc

This year they are also about to release the album History on April 29th. The knocks are collaborating with artists such as MUNA , Cold War kids, Parson James and Yoke Lore among others. There is an interesting story about the origin of the duo name: whenever they were playing music their neighbour knocks at the door.
In February The Knocks released the HISTORY single “Slow Song,” a sultry disco which casted Dragonette. The drop came with an official music video, which was was shot in Mexico City and stars Aquaria from Drag Race and Real Housewives.
